Mike

Mike Kentley has worked in the semiconductor industry for 13 years. Starting out with Micron Technology doing product engineering and memory design, he moved on to programmable logic, data compression ASICs and then to the Universal Serial Bus. He has been involved in a number of USB ASIC projects since early 1998, including a USB 1.1 Full-Speed transceiver design, and a number of USB device and USB host implementations for both USB 1.1 and USB 2.0. Mike made the leap to consulting in late 1998, forming the High Desert Design Center to leverage his experience getting working chips out the door into helping client companies get their chips out the door, and on time. Mike's consulting projects have run the range from ASIC functional verification, to ASIC design, custom USB training, and a little software thrown in for good measure.

When Mike is not working he's into aviation, cooking, running, being a busy dad and, occasionally, sleeping.

HDDC works with additional consultants and contractors on a per-project basis. Our "virtual team" consists of experts in Analog, Digital and Software design who can help us take your product from a back-of-the-envelope sketch to a complete working product.

HDDC's consultants work primarily from our own offices and labs. Depending on the needs of the project, we can work on-site with your project team, or arrange for members of your team to work on-site with us.
